Springridge School House located in Paradise Park
just off highway 189 in Powderly. Besides the school,
Merle Travis’ home, a village shotgun house, a pioneer
family log home, and a rustic stage where shows are presented
during the summer months can be found in the park.
The National Thumb Pickers weekend is held here
on the 4th weekend in August.
